We arrived in Rocky Mountain National Park for a long weekend in early March, surprised to find highs in the 60s and warm sunshine. After exploring the park and Estes Park area landmarks seeking photo opportunities, the hint of spring in the air would prove to be only a hint. Over the next few days, winter returned in the form of strong, icy winds and snow in the mountains. The resulting low clouds, thick snowflakes and varied weather conditions added to another great Rocky Mountain experience.
